Pharmachem's crude dextran may be utilized in the drilling and recovery of oil. Due to the viscosity of dextran, and with today's challenging costs associated with oil, we are finding a growing application in the recovery field.
Mining
Mining is a key industry for Pharmachem's products. Specifically, there are three forms of Pharmachem's dextran that are in the mining industry:
- Powder - Pharmachem's USA based production facility has been able to produce the industry's most pure form of dextran due to our constant pursuit of new technologies and process refinement for more than 65 years
- Liquid - as we are solely dedicated to the production of dextran and its derivatives, Pharmachem has not only secured its position as the producer of the industry's purest dextran, but also the nation's most cost effective producer
- Virtually Alchohol Free Liquid - this is the latest of our offerings and was developed with the mission of producing the industry's safest workable form of dextran
Pharmaceuticals
Pharmachem has several products available for pharmaceutical grade applications. For example, dextran sulfate can be tailored to meet the requirments of any application or customer requirement. Furthermore, multiple grades may be manufactured in accordance with GMP standards.
Other:
Dextran's uses are many and varied. Our diversified customer base finds applications ranging from those already articulated to food, film, membrane technology, etc.
